The data was collected by <a href=\"https:\/\/gometroapp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoMetro<\/a> with funding from the <a href=\"https:\/\/digitaltransport4africa.org\/innovation-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DT4A Innovation Challenge<\/a>.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This dataset played a crucial role in assessing the feasibility of transitioning South African minibus taxis to electric vehicles. The set contains operational data from approximately 10 minibus taxis operating in Stellenbosch, covering a span of 30 operating days. The data was collected over a 10-day period spanning from March 8 to March 18, 2023. We are confident that this dataset will greatly benefit researchers and urban planners in their efforts to decarbonize the minibus taxi industry.
